remember the date range when going between pages

Currently, the new UI always defaults to only showing today. Todat is a good default to have set to a new account, but if I select "7 days ago" in "Elevation Events" Page, and go to "Elevation Requests" page, it automatically goes back to "Today", even if I move to a page without that time filter, like "Dashboard" and then go back to the first page, it also goes back to "Today".
Maybe make it a user configurable option if oppinions are devided, but currently, this gives a strange feeling of, didn't I had this set. Certainly if you are reviewing things of last weekend, what elevation events where there, what requests, what blocker events,...

This is now live in the new admin portal (beta). Each grid now remembers the date range you picked, so if you set Elevation Events to the last 7 days, it stays that way when you come back to it instead of resetting to Today. Thanks for the suggestion.

I can live with it if it survives a refresh, I then have to set it 4 times to the setting I want, and it stays on that.

Robby Swartenbroekx: That's good to know, and it's the more useful answer. The persistence fix is what's logged, so once that lands you'll set each screen once and it'll stay. I'll leave this open in case anyone else wants the range to follow them across pages, but that's not blocking the fix.

Hi Robby — there are two separate things here, and you're right about both of them in different ways.
The reset itself is a bug. We reproduced it: the date range is supposed to stay where you left it on each screen, per browser, and it isn't holding — it doesn't even survive a refresh on the same page. That's logged and it'll get fixed.
The other half is a design question. The range is stored per screen rather than globally, so a range set on Elevation Events was never meant to carry over to Elevation Requests, and saved views don't include it either — a view covers columns, filters, grouping, search and sorting. A range that follows you across pages the way the company scope does would be a real change. It's a fair ask, so I'm leaving this post open for others to weigh in and vote on. If you'd rather it were configurable than always-global, say so here — that's the part that decides the design.
